It was only when I stepped into class for a spelling test that I forgot about his and his drive. Here in front of me were a bunch of 6 year olds and at least 1 out of 5 of them couldn't read, spell, much less even recognised the bloody ABCs. so much for the phrase, 'As easy as ABC, 123'. So these few kids had to be sat saparately from the rest and they would be tested not on words, but of alphabets instead. Even then, i noticed that it was a struggle for them.
I then noticed a child who couldn't raise his right hand. He said he fell and no one was willing to take him see the doc. God, I just hope his hand wasn't fractured. After class, i decided to pay his form teacher a visit regarding this kid...only to have her telling me, 'he's been like that for days. guess his parents can't afford the doc. oh well, dun bother....'
What happened? After a while, does one lose 'the spark' to teach, motivate and reaching for the child beyond the cirriculum???? *help*

the stars are like photograph.
you can read into them what you will.
you can believe that they measure all you have lost.
you can believe that they represent all you have loved and continue to love.
